i'm a variety artist! i can never stick to the same stuff it seems- i like to keep things interesting! i'm very passionate about drawing in general, without creating, i cannot thrive.things i tend to focus on:

  • species-specific details / characters with varying silhouettes and recognizable features / perfecting character accuracy

  • detailing linework / including small, subtle details

  • expressions / expressing characters in my work / letting viewers FEEL the feelings of the piece/characters

i work fast! i trained myself for several years in learing how to draw quickly and go zoomies. this is a strength for getting things done when i can- a weakness for speeding into burnout at times. bear with me ^^;i pressure myself a lot, and tend to not learn from my mistakes when it comes to working my art as a business. [i.e underpricing, not setting boundaries, treating myself unfairly, etc.] but i am trying my best.if it wasn't obvious, i'm quite talkative, as i have a lot to say, and like to expand on things where i see fit!

just because i CAN draw it though, doesn’t mean i’ll enjoy drawing it, so i may deny designs that may take too long to give TLC to.

  • 'Nightmare fuel’ amounts of gore.

Normal/casual gore is fine. Neon/candy gore is especially welcome.

REFUNDING:

  • Once i have started working on your order BEYOND the base sketch, there will be no refunds.

  • Full refunds only apply before i have started working, or partial refunds if i cannot complete your order.

EDITS:

  • i will ONLY make edits and fixes if i have made a character detail error- but only during the SKETCH phase.

  • i ENCOURAGE red-lining !! red-lining is the process where you use red (or other colours that are easy to see) to draw out corrections on a WIP sketch. this is easier for me to understand than trying to decipher corrections written out in text!

  • i will not re-create work if i don’t see it fit. edits on final pieces are not guaranteed, and otherwise cost extra per correction, so be sure you’re paying attention.

  • WIPs are not guaranteed.

TURNAROUND TIME:

  • i try to be timely with my work. small/sketch commissions are usually speedy and done within the week. big/rendered pieces can take weeks, up to a month wait for me to get started on your commission order, especially if i have others queued up before you.

  • ** If i have been inactive on your order for longer than mentioned, feel free to check up with me, but don’t be pushy about it.

  • if i haven’t received payment and/or started on your order- _do not poke me please._

Posting your commission[s],

  • i post ALL of my art! to the following sites: Tumblr, Twitter, FurAffinity, and commission work may also end up on this card!

  • you are allowed to upload any commissions you got from me on your FA, i encourage it!

  • just be sure to credit my username [iDoodle2Draw]- or better yet, link back to me. thanks!

  • i prefer clients to retweet / reblog my posts on Twitter / Tumblr, but clients are allowed to repost commissions they ordered from me on there. again, please just @ tag me!

You DO NOT have the right to mint/sell my art / your commission orders for NFT.

Nothing made by me [ Marquer - iDoodle2Draw / B4LLISTIKB34N / MarqueerAsHell ] may be used in any blockchain-related technology.
This includes NFTs, cryptocurrency, Ethereum, Stellar, Blockstream, and any other / future inventions in the space of digital currency.

  • Editting my sketch lines, personal work, or commission work for your own profit is strictly PROHIBITED.

  • You are not allowed to sell any artworks I created for you.

  • you can, however, make edits/additions to COMMISSIONS YOU ORDERED from me (adding a background, making minor character corrections if i missed it). you are welcome to show me and ask permission to post the edited version.

  • For fuck’s sake, do not use other’s commission work as your own icon/avatar or whatever for your own use. that’s weird and extremely rude. the art was not made for you, don’t use it.

  • Do not use MY SONAs or characters for your own use. if i catch you doing so, i will report you without warning or notice.

  • if i find you commissioned me with a stolen character, you will be blacklisted without warning and i will snipe all postings of said commission.

  • My signature stays. complain and i’ll just make it bigger :)

As for YCHs,

  • payments for YCHs are up-front; the example IS your base sketch.

  • i default to Multi-slot YCHs. Single slot YCHs will be specified as such.

  • i tolerate corrections on YCH orders much less than normal commissions.

  • characters without a reference sheet and/or only have a written description are subject to a fee.

  • be mindful of the lengthy descriptions for my YCHs, they’re there for your own benefit and will prevent confusion.

As for Adoptables,

  • some adopts can be put on hold at my discretion. ask for confirmation.

  • if more than one person is interested, whoever pays first gets the adopt design.

  • you’re free to resell adoptables if you no longer want them.

  • But You May Not resell adoptables for more than you bought it for- unless you drew more art of them/bought more commissions of them. Sell them for the total.

  • you are free to use said adoptables however you like [as a persona, draw them yourself, get artwork made for them, etc]. gender, name, etc. are all up to you!

  • you are free to change/specify the breed, eye colour[s], and/or the meat/paw colour[s].

  • if you adopt a closed-species design, refrain from changing the species! Sell it back to me if you don’t want them anymore.

  • For Custom Adoptables/Designs:

share as many details as you can muster- VISUALS help the most !!
if I ask for visuals up-front, please provide them as soon as possible. visuals given after I start working on the adoptable may not be accepted. please do your homework to avoid confusion and headaches for us both. i’d rather wait for visuals than exchange back and forth with changes.

my ref sheet prices are ESPECIALLY tentative, as i have a high demand for them and still not sure where to set these prices.i make ref sheets with the intent of them being used for years.
the prices being higher than my usual prices are like that because i take more time on ref sheets to perfect them and lengthen their usefulness. [that and the back and forth that is required].

i live with myself every day, i know i have a lot of flaws- i'm doing my damndest to better myself and my behaviour.i have GAD, i suffer from a lot of anxiety, as i've been manipulated and taken-advantage of several times- and still do even lately.
nowadays, i'm too mentally exhausted to get back to everyone and allot much to conversation- for a variety of reasons other than previously mentioned.i may avoid behaviour/topics that have been problematic for me in the past and may not speak up about it.many people took my kindness as an invitation to treat me poorly, so apologies if i'm distant at times!due to all these things and more, i'm infamous for not being the one to reach out/DM others first- and wait for others to talk to me instead.
i tend to feel like: a bother, annoying, boring to talk to.i don't hate you, its just force-of-habit.

  • asking me "how are you" is appreciated, but discouraged.

  • if we click, great! if we don't, please do not try to push it and respect my space.

  • a lot of people try too hard and it’s a little overwhelming.

just because i’ve had nice conversations with someone, and/or they may have regularly commissioned me- doesn’t make that person my friend. friendship is deeper than that.

i try to be well mannered and easy to approach, and i may pass that along to my social media presence and commission process as well.
i simply want others to have a good experience.

IF i show this behaviour myself, PLEASE do not hesitate to say something about it. i'm not here to make others uncomfortable, even if it was accidental.

i'm trying to be better about speaking up about my discomforts.
if you mention something, and i randomly go quiet- its OK, it happens sometimes.
